But also on apolloduck, ebay and facebook you can find boats. And don´t hesitate to ask sailors for a tip online or in the harbor.

 I started boat building in 1998, working for Bob Hoare Ltd, building Contenders and Poole AB’s whilst undertaking a City and guilds in Yacht and Boat building which I completed in 2003. I then left Bob Hoare Ltd and joined Latham’s Boatyard repairing wooden yachts and involved in running the office until April 2006 when I set up my own business building and repairing dinghies and small yachts. Since taking over the moulds in 2006 from Bob Hoare Ltd we have made a few changes to the way that the boats are built. We have changed the core thickness, increased the number and size of the stiffeners in the structure under the deck and modified the back of the mould to make producing the boats easier. Gosling Dinghy Craft Limited are NEW licensed builders in the UK, with over 32 years of boatbuilding experience. Kevin Gosling (proprietor and principal builder) has built for numerous classes including OK, Fireball, Merlin Rocket, Scorpion and Solo, with the most recent being the Contender.
With the NEW Contender, the composite construction has been proven to be very strong with the more conventional sapele looking deck, thus maintaining the Contender Classic look.
